The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently put the finishing touches to the upcoming UFC 256 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which takes place TONIGHT (Saturday, December 12, 2020) via ESPN + Inside the APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main tasks will be handled by Flyweight rivals Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno, who are vying for the 125-pound “Daico” belt. In UFC 256’s joint main event, former interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson is looking to quell an uprising by Charles Oliveira who specializes in offering 155 pounds.

145 lbs: Billy Quarantillo against. Gavin Tucker

Round 1: Tucker Early Right Hook. Quantio launch kicks. Tucker’s low kick drops, then right hook and body kick. Quarantillo with a right lead, 1-2, and body kick, prompting Tucker to link. Tucker takes him down for a minute, but Quarantillo pops up. The counter hook is by Tucker as Quarantillo presses forward. Right Hand by Quarantillo is in discount. Put some knees downstairs. Hard elbow in the first half. Two minutes in. Tie again good exchange in the second half. Flex with stiff knee and attached inside. Counter right hook. Quarantillo, with a forward kick downstairs, eats a wave in response. Another hard Tucker knee with a two minute end.

1-2 from Tucker, then a sliding right. Quarantillo attempts the bullying to snatch. Double left Tucker, then one for the body. Belt, tucker rode. They are trading a minute ago. Quarantillo with two left hooks inside and alternate knees downstairs. Hold another elbow when broken, walking in the left hook. A clean and straight head kick to the left of Tucker, who withstands a late takedown. It lands with one before the bell. 10-9 tucker.

The second round: back to the express exchanges. Combination of Tucker, then three pieces and kick the head behind. Good move for the knee and left ball as Quarantillo attacks the body. Tucker 1-2. 115 lbs: Tessia Torres against. Sam Hughes

Round 1: Trade low kicks early, mostly from Hughes. Torres drops Superman’s punch. Good mix in the middle. Her fist rotates back, causing Hughes to place her on the fence. One minute in. Torres reflected, then separated. Back to low kicks. Torres with Superman’s last punch for a low kick, then two minutes in. Side kick soon after. Superman’s cleanest punch yet. It is much faster than Hughes and makes use of it greatly. Hughes tries to spin and land a cake. Two minutes to go.

Torres in the flesh. Good exchange. More kicks from Torres, he avoids Superman’s punch and follows an attempted kick to the head with a cross pass to the right. Body shots from Torres. One minute left. Right hand of Hughes who gives land. The double leg kick. Stuck with one, Hughes tries to hook up and eats a heavy set of her problems. Torres’ knee answers a change in level and hits Hughes to the ground, waiting for the guillotine. 9-10 torres.

Hughes tells her in the corner between rounds that she cannot see from her left eye, so she will.

Final result: Defeat Torres. Hughes by TKO (eye injury)


145 Lbs: Peter Barrett vs Chase Hopper

Round 1: Hopper kicks off to start. He is looking for an interactive shot, not a shot back. Low kicks from Barrett, direct counter shortly thereafter. Barrett tries a combo on the fence a minute at. Hopper stays side to side and tries to kick. The left hand lands him. Interchange the kick, Hopper takes a low hit. Barrett returns to leg and body kicks when they resume. He left his good arm chasing forward. Barrett kept him near the fence two minutes before going.

Barrett takes the next low hit. Side kicks from Hopper. A mixture of Barrett, and continue to progress. Hopper with a well-timed reactive shot, searches for one leg a minute earlier. Now double, eats brown elbow. He spins to get a kick to the leg in the final seconds, and can’t get it. 9-10 Barrett.

Round 2: Crusty from Hopper. More low kicks from Barrett. Nice Left Running Lands for Hopper. 1-2, eats a low kick in turn. He is changing position now as Barrett rips the right calf. One minute in. 3-2 and a body kick from Barrett, then another pair of calf kicks that Hopper stumbled over. Hopper tries to withdraw the guard, but cannot do so. After two minutes. Hopper tries some leg kicks. Shoots denied. Now Imanari roll. Two minutes to go.

An embarrassing situation between north and south. He tries to hook the heel, he can’t keep Barrett low. One minute left. Low kicks from Hopper. Trying to kick 1-2. Barrett with counter right hook. 9-10 Barrett.

Round 3: Lightning head kick relegated for Hopper. Barrett catches a body kick. Barrett still leads, and returns a low kick with 1-2. Hopper changes levels, denied. 2-3 landing him. Another good emnari roll made by Hopper. Hammerfists from 50/50. Barrett clenches his fists in return. After two minutes. Huber is now looking for an inverted heel hook, and has his hips in place. He squeezes the hook and pulls some frantic taps.

The end result: hopper def. Barrett Serving (hook heel)
