Casinos and entertainment games will be allowed to reopen on Monday in France, as part of further easing coronavirus restrictions, the country’s prime minister, Édouard Philippe, said.

Team sports training will also be allowed to continue on Monday, but contact sports are still banned.

“His situation (sports contact) will be discussed before September,” the statement said.

July 11 ends the state of emergency in France. Up to 5,000 people will be replenished to fill the stadium from that date, but some restrictions remain. The statement added that “activities involving more than 1,500 people will have to be reported to ensure the necessary precautions.”

The 5,000-person limit will continue until September 1, but “the national epidemiological situation will be reviewed in mid-July to see if mitigation is possible in the second half of August,” the Philippe office said.

Nightclub owners and organizers of international sea cruises will have to wait until September to know if they can continue their activities.
