In the meeting, the two parties discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries, within the framework of the strategic partnership that binds them, as well as the latest developments in efforts to reach a political solution to the Syrian crisis. For its part, the Jordanian News Agency “Petra” reported that Safadi stressed the need to intensify efforts to reach a political solution to the crisis that preserves Syria’s unity and cohesion, stops terrorism, and restores stability.
