James ‘Kamala’ Harris, former WWE wrestler, dies at 70
In a vocation that spanned much more than two many years, Harris battled a lot of of wrestling’s superstars, like Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker and Andre the Giant, according to the launch.
“He terrorized opponents and thrilled audiences in Mid-South, Earth Course Championship Wrestling, WCW and WWE until finally 2006,” the WWE said. His character, Kamala, was promoted as a 6-foot-7, 350-pound “Ugandan Large.”

Other wrestlers took to social media Sunday to honor Harris working with the hashtag #ripkamala.
“A further legend who deserved to be in @WWE Hall of Fame and ALIVE when that time came,” reported former wrestler Elijah Burke, also recognized as Da Pope. “An all close to terrific talent and fantastic person that got about and stood out anywhere he went. RIP to the good ‘Ugandan Giant’ Kamala. His memory will stay on permanently.”
Former wrestler Scotty Riggs with Globe Championship Wrestling (WCW) tweeted that he never met or understood Harris, but he understood his influence.
