This is Garth Brooks on his way to a concert series

The village singer announced on Thursday that he will perform at the Drama Theater on June 27th. But this is the best part for his fans: The concert will be broadcast live on 300 drives across the country.

“They’re going to perform it like a regular concert, but this is going to be all over North America, just one night,” Brooks said of “Good Morning America.” “We’re excited because it’s a reason to get out of the house, but at the same time you have to follow all the Covid rules from each state and you have to have fun and stay in line with social distancing guidelines … we call it ‘socializing at a social distance.'”

Tickets for the Brooks concert go on sale on June 19 and will cost $ 100. The locations for the ride will be announced on June 15th.

Drive-in concerts, and people socially distanced in their cars pop up in parts of Europe and across the United States, while the coronavirus pandemic keeps large public gatherings.

Keith Urban and DJ D-Nice were among the first great artists to perform in drive-in performances.

CNN recently spoke with Adam Alpert, CEO of Sony Disruptor Records, who said that while there is no coronavirus vaccine, the music industry must become innovative.

“Clearly there is a demand for live concerts,” Alpert said. “People miss live music. They miss seeing their favorite artists. They miss the magic and energy that watching live music brings … [Musical artists] it’s itching to get out, but we have to wait until it’s safe. I think artists, promoters and premises are resilient and will try to look for new ways to make live music safe in these uncertain times. “
