Michael Kosans: Leeds is about to sign Bayern Munich midfielder | football news
Leeds are close to signing 21-year-old midfielder Michael Kozans from Bayern Munich.
The France U-20 international is set to become the eighth Leeds signature to the window and may undergo a medical examination as early as Wednesday.
Quizans joined Bayern Munich from Borussia Monchengladbach in August 2019, but has only made 11 appearances for the German and European champions.
He was dropped from the squad after the 4-1 defeat by Hoffenheim on Sunday and was an unused substitute in the European Super Cup win over Seville, but played 17 minutes in Bayern’s 8-0 win over Schalke in the opening game in the Bundesliga.
After their return to the Premier League, Leeds signed Valencia forward Rodrigo Moreno, Real Sociedad defender Diego Llorente, Freiburg defender Robin Koch, Lorient’s goalkeeper Ilan Messler and Wigan striker Joe Gillhardt.
They also added Helder Costa from Wolverhampton on a permanent deal after his loan spell last year, and re-signed Jack Harrison to another Manchester City loan deal.
