Breaking: Aston Villa announces the transfer of Bertrand Traore from Lyon
Aston Villa announces the fourth summer signing after Bertrand Traore arrives from Lyon.
The 25-year-old put an official pen to paper and signed for an undisclosed fee believed to be around £ 17 million.
“We are delighted that Bertrand chose to come to Villa. He is a player of tremendous talent and will really enhance our attacking options,” said national coach Dean Smith of his last shot.
The international Burkino Faso player will give Villa much-needed speed on the wings while he has a devastating left foot and a bluff.
Traore, who can play up front, explained how players like John Terry, Anwar Al Ghazi and Marvelous Nakamba have helped him stick with Villa after playing with them at Chelsea, Ajax and Vitis Arnhem respectively.
He said, “I’m very happy to join Aston Villa. I’m happy to be here. I played with JTV Chelsea, I talked to him.” Nakamba and the invader.

Traore has a pedigree in the Champions League, he scored 33 goals during the third season at Lyon and scored 17 assists from 126 games.
Meanwhile, Villa is still awaiting international approval for Traore which is expected to pass completely. It is not known if the winger will play for Villa against Sheffield United on Monday.
