Since retirement, he is fulfilling his long time desire for a full time career in fine art photography. He is a passionate photographer whose work has been exhibited in numerous juried and "one man" shows. His work has won many coveted awards. He continues to be involved in photography and art organizations. Ramon lectures and gives seminars at various organizations sharing his passion and skills for art and photography.

When asked about his poster design Magee stated "I wanted to integrate this lamp into the design. The association of a fine art festival, with historical art and the festival location was inescapable."
